Stem cells of endangered species

Paul Harris has written a fantastic article [1] to link Option G Conservation of Biodiversity with Topic 4 Genetic engineering!  Freezing skin cells that can be transformed into pluripotent stem cells which can be implanted in utero with the hopes to bring to term an individual of an endangered (hopefully not yet extinct) species.  The "Noah's ark" or genetic bottleneck phenomenon would certainly be a question to pose as you link this article to Topic 4 Genetic engineering  and  Option D  Species & speciation.
